Director, Steve Petrillo “A Christmas Carol” Talks Shop

“What has been such an incredible experience for me is that the writers are so collaborative!  Wanting to work together to get the most out of every scene and every moment, in dialogue and in song.”

“Since collaborating, what has grown and changed in the story/production is the connection between the ‘boy’ and Scrooge.  The boy in our show represents all of the boys in Scrooge’s life. And, what we aimed to do, was highlight that connection.  Not only to the requisite Tiny Tim character, but also to the Boy Scrooge himself, which is where the life of Ebenezer took its first turn to becoming the ‘odious and unfeeling’ man he utlimately became.”
